Booker T is able to make it to Orlando for NXT’s weekly television shows. His addition to the brand’s commentary team was welcomed by fans, but he isn’t game to take on any additional traveling.

Booker T is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, and his influence on the industry is nothing new. That being said, he likes NXT taping their television shows at the WWE Performance Center.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T addressed the idea of NXT going back on the road. This is something that he’s not really interested in, because he gave up those days on the road a long time ago.

“I’m not looking to get back on the road on a weekly basis or anything like that, like in different cities. I love being in Orlando, but my thing is, man, I’m always available when I’m available. If the checks are right, I’m gonna be there. That’s just the way I am. The contract could always be renegotiated. So yeah, I mean, if NXT goes on the road, just because I love it, I love being a part of that crew, I love watching those young guys go out there and perform at that level and to be a part of their growth as far as getting them ready for that next step, I’m loving that part as well. So yeah, I’m gonna stick around.”

Booker T also admitted that he wants Vic Joseph on the WWE main roster. In the end, Booker wants Vic to get his flowers on RAW and SmackDown.

“I want to see Vic move up, man. I want to see Vic move to the main roster and get his flowers because Vic is good. Vic is definitely the reason I stay on point on that show [as a commentator].”

Booker T’s voice has added a lot of things to NXT, but they might not want to take the show on the road if they want him to stick around. It seems that Booker T, while he is rooting for Vic Joseph, the former Harlem Heat member isn’t down to take on those additional travel commitments.

We will have to see what’s in the future for the NXT commentary team. If anything, the brand could still play a vital role in getting people ready for the WWE main roster, no matter where they are in the company.

WWE’s NXT brand has a lot of talented individuals, but who should get a main roster call-up next? Sound off in the comments!
