Drew McIntyre Says He Had Been Counting The Days After WWE Money In The Bank Return

Drew McIntyre is one of the most established WWE Superstars of the past decade, as he won the WWE Championship twice. McIntyre was absent for a long time and fans were worried about his WWE status. All those worries were put to rest after McIntyre returned at the Money In The Bank event.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Drew McIntyre was injured. The injury took place before his highly acclaimed triple threat match against GUNTHER and Sheamus at WrestleMania 39. After the match, he had been absent from in-ring competition.

Drew McIntyre was up in the air regarding his deal with the company, and he is still off WWE television due to the injury. Reports had also suggested that he isn’t happy with his creative direction in WWE.

Thankfully, Drew McIntyre made his return during the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event and confronted Gunther before laying him out. Following his return, McIntyre took to Twitter and made it clear he had been waiting to return.
