WWE lost Naomi and Sasha Banks in May 2022 when they walked out of the company. Despite the fact that both of them are with different companies now, it seems that all hope is not lost on seeing them in WWE again.

In a surprising turn of events, Naomi, known as Trinity during her time in IMPACT Wrestling, made headlines when she, alongside Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone in NJPW), walked out of WWE prior to the May 16, 2022 episode of WWE Raw. The reported cause behind their departure stemmed from creative differences following a meeting with Vince McMahon.

Notably, Naomi and Banks held the esteemed titles of WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions during the time of their departure, adding further significance to their decision. As a consequence of their actions, both superstars were suspended indefinitely by WWE.

While speaking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Jimmy Uso, Trinity’s husband, was asked about working in a different company than his wife.

“It’s been weird. We’ve been on the road together since we first started our WWE career. For 12 years and then all of a sudden [done]. When that happened, it came to a complete stop, a schedule change and then not seeing her much with our schedule and what she’s doing, it’s been an adjustment, but we make it happen and make it work. She’s having a blast, moving at her own pace, which is something we never really get to do. She’s enjoying it and doing what she’s wanted to do; broadway, music, more acting.”

“I was never really worried about myself. Just mainly her. Making sure everything is okay. I was never worried about myself. It wasn’t even about me. I just wanted to make sure everything was good. That day, I was super busy, I had a match and then when I came in the back, she left. It was already boiling then. Then we found out everything.”

“Of course [WWE fans will see her again], even she would like to comeback. At the end of the day, we started our career here at WWE and in a perfect world, we’d like to finish here in WWE. She is definitely open to coming back and when the timing is right and everything fits, hopefully, it works.”

Uso then chimed in to say,”Please come back. We need her on the road. Give me and him a break. She’s the middleman of all of us.”

Naomi’s wrestling journey continued as she found a new home in IMPACT Wrestling in April 2023. Since her arrival, Naomi has proven to be a shining star within IMPACT’s Knockouts Division, captivating audiences with her exceptional skills and captivating performances. Her presence has undoubtedly added a spark to the already vibrant landscape of women’s wrestling in IMPACT Wrestling.
