Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, two of WWE’s top stars, currently dominate the wrestling scene. Rollins holds the prestigious position of the World Heavyweight Champion on Raw, while Reigns reigns as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion on SmackDown.

Their paths will intersect once again at the upcoming Money in the Bank event, where Rollins will defend his title against Finn Balor, and Reigns will team up with Solo Sikoa to take on The Usos in The Bloodline Civil War Match.

During a joint appearance with Becky Lynch on ESPN’s First Take to promote Money in the Bank, Rollins was asked about the possibility of crossing paths with Reigns once more.

Rollins expressed his belief that it is inevitable, considering their shared history that dates back to 2012 when they entered WWE together as a team. Although their careers have taken different paths, Rollins acknowledged that they are both currently at the pinnacle of their abilities, entering their prime in the industry.

As World Champions simultaneously on separate brands – Reigns on SmackDown and Rollins on Raw – their eventual clash is almost certain. Rollins anticipates the moment, acknowledging Reigns’ impressive championship reign and recognizing himself as the one competitor Reigns has been unable to defeat. He concluded by stating that if it comes down to it, they will have to square off once more.

“Yeah, it’s inevitable. Our story starts in 2012. We came in together. We broke in together as a team and have gone our separate ways but we’re both at the top of our games. Entering our prime, right in the meat of it. Both World Champions at the same time on separate brands – him on SmackDown, me on Raw. I think inevitably we’re going to cross paths again. We have to. I’m looking forward to it. He’s on an incredible run right now, one of the longest title reigns of all time. Along the way, there’s only been one guy he hasn’t been able to put away and you’re looking at him. If it comes down to it, we’re going to have to tangle one more time.”

Their most recent encounter took place at the Royal Rumble earlier this year, with Rollins securing a victory via disqualification.

With their history, talent, and current positions at the top of the WWE roster, the potential collision between Rollins and Reigns promises to be a highly anticipated event for fans.
