Fans were eagerly waiting for CM Punk’s return on the debut episode of Collision, as it marked the first time he appeared on AEW television since All Out last year. It turned out to be a major success, but he got a very different reaction on Collision this week. That said, it appears Punk had second thoughts about crowd surfing after Collision this week.

CM Punk partnered up with FTR and Ricky Starks to take on the team of The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) & Bullet Club Gold (Jay White & Juice Robinson) in the main event.

It was definitely a solid match as all competitors got their time to shine. That said, CM Punk got a constant barrage of boos throughout the show and the match was not any different. In the end, CM Punk’s team was not able to win this time around.

After the show went off the air, CM Punk could be seen making his way to the back. He noticed the crowd in attendance and tried to jump into the crowd, before having second thoughts due to the backlash he received at the show.
