Mark Henry shocked the world when he made his debut at the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view back in 2021. AEW became only the second company ever that Henry has worked in. That said, Mark Henry has also revealed that his job is to teach psychology to wrestlers in AEW.

The World’s Strongest Man had also signed a multi-year deal with the company. He has largely been seen as the announcer for the main event of AEW Rampage every week, but he has done more.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, the WWE Hall Of Famer talked about his backstage role in AEW. The World’s Strongest Man revealed that his job is to teach psychology to wrestlers in AEW.

“I do a lot of the psychology, I teach. I’m considered a coach, but I don’t produce the matches that you see on TV. I go to each individual guy and I talk to them about their persona and character. ‘Hey, man, I think if you changed this, can you try to do this differently?’ So we go back and forth, and there’s some people that listen better than others, and you can see the development of those people.”

Mark Henry had previously stated that he wants to wrestle in AEW and the hope remains even now. Henry last competed in the ring as one of the many participants at the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018 and it remains to be seen whether Henry will compete in one more match in AEW.
