Mustafa Ali Confirmed For First NXT Match This Week

WWE has seen a few main roster Superstars make their way to the NXT brand for a run. Last week saw the returns of both Mustafa Ali and Baron Corbin to NXT, and Ali will get started next week with a match.

During the May 30th episode of NXT Mustafa Ali made an appearance and joined the commentary team for the match featuring NXT North American Champion Wes Lee. However, things quickly escalated when Joe Gacy launched an attack on Lee and Tyler Bate after their victory over The Dyad.

Mustafa Ali jumped in and came to the rescue, stopping Joe Gacy’s assault and ensuring the safety of Lee and Bate. This week on NXT, the two will have a chance to settle the score.

Mustafa Ali and Joe Gacy was announced by WWE for this week’s episode of NXT. That could be a good match to start Ali’s return in the NXT brand.
