AEW has a few stars who are on the shelf due to injury. It seems that the wait might be over soon enough for Santana.

We previously reported that Santana is expected to make his return from injury soon. It wasn’t noted exactly when that will happen, but now we have a very good idea.

During the Blood and Guts match in June 2022, Santana experienced an awkward landing that resulted in a knee injury, as confirmed by Tony Khan. That saw the Inner Circle member leave the active AEW roster, but he was paid the entire time throughout his injury.

After nearly a year of being sidelined, Santana took to Twitter on June 4th and shared a cryptic tweet featuring the date “6/9.”

While the numbers themselves may be perceived as “very nice,” they also correspond to this upcoming Friday. This has sparked speculation about Santana’s potential return on Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, or the possibility of him making an important announcement regarding his wrestling future.

It’s worth noting that Santana had previously posted the date April 21st on his Twitter account, leaving fans curious about its significance. As of now, the meaning behind these dates remains unknown, but fans eagerly await further updates from the talented Proud N Powerful member.
