Karrion Kross had a brilliant time in NXT, where he won the NXT Championship twice. However, none of that mattered after he was called up to the main roster and was utterly humiliated every week back in 2021. He came back to WWE last year and is now a regular feature on Smackdown. That said, it appears that Jim Cornette claimed Karrion Kross is done after his most recent loss on WWE Smackdown.

Kross returned to WWE and immediately attacked Drew McIntyre during the closing moments of SmackDown back in August last year. He had a long feud with McIntyre and then began a feud with Rey Mysterio.

The Harbinger of Doom squared off against AJ Styles on last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, where he ended up losing to the Phenomenal One a day before Night Of Champions.

While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked about Karrion Kross’ current character in WWE. Cornette criticized Kross for no longer having an interesting character.

“Here’s my comment. After the entrance, Kross is f****** done. Remember when he was interesting and it goes down to the hair I think, I don’t know why. But at one point he was interesting and seemed like something and now he looks good physically, he does s**t. It’s just it doesn’t connect anymore, it’s boring, what’s missing, what’s happening here? Is it that people have heard those promos that he’s just monotone, droning on, it doesn’t connect because it’s so phony? Is it the hair that made him look not intimidating?”

While Karrion Kross lost to AJ Styles last week, there is always the chance he could reignite the feud once again. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what the future holds for Kross.
