Vince McMahon is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling. He gave his whole life to pro wrestling and there is simply nothing else he would rather be doing than be involved with WWE. Reports suggested that Vince McMahon has a clause in his contract to remain the chairman of WWE until his death. Now it appears Booker T commented on this clause, stating that McMahon can’t be blamed for wanting to stay the WWE Chairman.

Vince McMahon was forced to step down from his role as WWE Chairman after a series of abuse allegations and hush money scandals. In the meantime, Triple H took over WWE Creative.

That did not last long as Vince McMahon came back in January this year and immediately became the Executive Chairman of the WWE. It was also reported that as part of the WWE and UFC merger deal, Vince McMahon has clause in his contract to remain the chairman of WWE as long as he is alive.

While speaking on the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about Vince McMahon’s clause about remaining the WWE Chairman till death. Booker T made it clear that he does not blame McMahon for this.

“‘Look, I ain’t going nowhere, you know. Do they put me in the ground, just forget about (…) Let’s not even think about doing something like that ever again.’ That’s what that means. So, hey, I get it. I always say, man, when it’s yours, how [is] somebody gonna tell you out when you built it? That’s a hard hard pill to swallow. You know, it really is. So, I don’t blame the man for putting the clause in there and making sure he’s solidified in that position forevermore.”

Vince McMahon was also accused of negligence towards an ex-WWE Superstar’s potential wheelchair bound outcome. Regardless, McMahon will do whatever he wants to and that will never change.
