Chris Jericho Draws Comparison Between AEW All In and the Super Bowl

Chris Jericho has been part of the pro wrestling business for well over three decades now and has seen numerous changes in the industry over the years. He is extremely proud of being part of AEW and now it appears Jericho compared AEW All In to The Super Bowl.

AEW will be holding the next All In event at Wembley Stadium this year, which will have a capacity of 90,000. It did not take long before people came out in droves and claimed that AEW could never sell out the stadium.

Obviously, all the naysayers had to eventually eat their words after AEW All In ended up selling over 35,000 tickets in the presale earlier this week. Tony Khan then announced that AEW All In had sold 50,000 tickets.

Chris Jericho announced that the event ended up selling over 60,000 tickets for Wembley Stadium. The official AEW Twitter uploaded a video of Chris Jericho hyping up the event, where he compared All In to The Super Bowl.

“I think All In is aptly named because I think everybody in AEW, everybody in the world that’s associated with AEW wants to be in Wembley,” Jericho said. “Who’s gonna be there? What are the big matches we’re gonna have? All I know is this, it’s almost like the Super Bowl, you’re gonna wanna go even if you don’t know who’s wrestling because you know you’re gonna get a huge, huge card with huge, huge matches in a huge, huge stadium. It’s the perfect time for AEW to come to the UK, when we’re the most popular wrestling company in the country.”

AEW has not announced any matches for All In London yet, but that will likely be rectified in good time. By then, fans believe the entire Wembley Stadium will be sold out and make history in pro wrestling.
