AEW has made a new addition to its official roster page, and this time it’s for a member of the Spanish language broadcast team. The newly added member is the Spanish color commentator Alvaro Riojas, who expressed his excitement on Twitter.

Riojas shared his joy by tweeting, “Friends! I have been officially added to the AEW page! The little boy who dreamed that one day he would be part of the world of professional wrestling is today on a higher floor.”

Riojas has been a part of the AEW Spanish broadcast team for a while now and has been praised by fans for his commentary skills. He is now officially recognised as a member of the AEW team, joining former AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa, who has also been contributing to the Spanish announce team since February.

However, Rosa has been sidelined with an injury since August 2022, and her return has been delayed. According to a report by Fightful Select, there is growing concern that Rosa may need surgery on her back, which could result in an even longer layoff for her.

With Rosa’s injury status uncertain, Riojas will likely continue to serve as the Spanish color commentator for AEW’s broadcasts. The addition of Riojas to the official roster page highlights AEW’s commitment to diversifying its team and providing a global viewing experience for its fans.
