ROH Champion Criticizes Sky Blue for Relying on Sex Appeal

Athena, also known as Ember Moon in WWE, continues to assert her dominance over women’s wrestling with a bold statement on a recent episode of Ring of Honor. After defeating Angelica Risk in a proving ground match, Athena received a challenge from Skye Blue for the ROH Women’s World Championship. However, Athena declined to come to the ring and left the challenge unanswered officially.

In a backstage interview segment, Athena made a stunning claim that not only was Skye Blue unworthy to stand in the ring with her but also she would accept the challenge for the next week. She criticized Skye Blue’s reliance on her sex appeal and asserted that she did not belong in AEW, let alone her Women’s division.

“Since you want to pop off and run your mouth, I’ll entertain your challenge… let me get something straight right now, just because you’ve been coasting on your sex appeal doesn’t mean you’re worthy of this opportunity.

“And not only am I going to make an example out of you, I’m going to embarrass you and show the world that you never belonged in All Elite Wrestling and you sure as hell don’t belong in my Women’s division.”
