Dave Meltzer via WOR described WWE backstage after the draft as “chaotic”.

However, we’ve instead heard many backstage are very happy with the way the rosters shook out, with most wrestlers looking forward to the plans for the World Heavyweight championship and SummerSlam.

WWE holds a draft every year, but this is the first time that Vince McMahon’s fingerprints weren’t on the entire operation. Obviously, there will always be things to complain about, but it seems that the idea things aren’t okay backstage in WWE is pretty far from the truth.

The new WWE rosters will go into effect during the RAW after Backlash on May 8th. We will have to see how things shake out from that point on, but there are a lot of things going on in WWE right now.

What’s your take on the 2023 WWE Draft? Are you happy about how things are going in WWE? Sound off in the comments!
