Why The Miz Landed On RAW During 2023 WWE Draft

WWE has a lot of plans in the pipeline, and the 2023 WWE Draft is certainly getting a lot of attention. Although a few names might have been a surprise, WWE had a plan for The Miz.

The Miz was picked to go to RAW in the 2023 WWE Draft. This choice will see the A-Lister on the red brand even longer, and there is a very good reason for that.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that The Miz “had” to be on RAW. After all, his reality television show is on the USA Network, so he is needed to help promote that show.

Miz had to be on RAW, because they’re doing Miz & Mrs, you know? So it comes on right after RAW, so you need Miz on that show to promote his own show, so Miz had to be on RAW.

Miz & Mrs is still a big show for the USA Network, and they have a perfect time slot for it after WWE RAW. It would certainly help to have the star of that show on RAW to help build a good lead-in, and that’s exactly what they’re doing.

The Miz has done a lot in WWE, and although he’s not in a title picture right now, WWE has plenty of use for him. It turns out that his placement on RAW was very intentional, because it all played into the USA Network’s other WWE reality television show.
