Wardlow quickly became a big name in All Elite Wrestling, becoming a force to be reckoned with in no time. The current TNT Champion was a beloved babyface for a long time but his momentum has somewhat halted now. Many fans still want to see Wardlow vs Goldberg, but it appears there is concern the match would be a complete disaster.

For a long time now, Wardlow has been compared to WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg in numerous ways. This especially had to do with the fact that Wardlow would win multiple squash matches during the early stages of his career.

AEW will be holding their next ‘All In’ event at Wembley Stadium on August 27th and with a 90,000 crowd capacity, the company is looking to sell out the venue with numerous top-class matches.

One of the speculated matches is certainly Wardlow taking on Goldberg. While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T talked about Wardlow vs Goldberg taking place at All In. Booker T stated that he believes the match would be a complete disaster.

No, not for me. It’s great on paper. It’s something I could see headlining the marquee — I could see that. But, I’m talking about what could happen in an actual match between Wardlow and Goldberg. That could be a disaster, a total and complete disaster. I would not recommend this match.

Wardlow and Goldberg were also involved in confrontation recently. Regardless, it remains to be seen whether Goldberg and Wardlow will end up squaring off against each other at All In.

What’s your take on what Booker T said? Do you want to see Wardlow vs Goldberg in AEW? Sound off in the comments!
