WWE’s 2023 Draft is the talk of the pro wrestling world today, and the two-night event will stretch until Monday’s RAW. Only time will tell how long it takes for every eligible Superstar to find a new home on the main roster, but they are already setting up for a special show.

We previously reported that WWE Superstars do not know where they will go in the 2023 WWE Draft yet. The fact is that is a common occurrence in WWE, because the company likes to capture organic reactions. It seems that they are also going to set up a special stage tonight as the 2023 WWE Draft kicks off.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE is setting up a special set for tonight’s Draft. They will have podiums set up for both brands to give the idea that we’re dealing with two separate entities.

WWE has Raw and Smackdown draft rooms and a draft podium set for tonight.

The 2023 WWE Draft was actually scheduled around the time of the NFL Draft for reason. WWE likes to make their Draft episodes feel special, and since Draft season is in the air they are going to get it done right now.

WWE likes to make their Draft specials feel like a bigger event. They have borrowed from the NFL Draft in the past, so it will be interesting to see if that happens again this year.

We already know about one surprise cameo that is expected for this year’s Draft. Also, Teddy Long will be around, and he might take over Stephanie McMahon’s old role. This will be big night for WWE fans, and we will have all the updates you need right here at Ringside News.
