Bray Wyatt was all set to take on Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39, but then the Eater of Worlds vanished. He’s not medically cleared to compete yet, and we haven’t heard that has changed. Still, with the WWE Draft coming up, you never know what to expect.

Alexa Bliss hasn’t been around since the Royal Rumble event. It was thought that she was going to be inserted into Bray Wyatt’s storyline, but then he disappeared. The original WrestleMania plan for Wyatt vs Bobby Lashley did include Uncle Howdy and Alexa Bliss in some form or fashion.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided a bit of an update about WWE Draft possibilities. Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss were not listed as possible draft names, which is interesting. It could also indicate that a surprise is coming.

A key is also that Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss’ name are not listed, although they could be surprises. McIntyre’s contract situation is well known, while Wyatt’s situation is more of a mystery although he’s still been in company video packages.

It was also noted that, “Alexa Bliss and Uncle Howdy, who were to be part of Wyatt’s storyline, have also not been back of late, although Howdy’s return was likely only due to Wyatt. Bliss can return any time with or without Wyatt.” True, Alexa Bliss can return on her own, but she would need a direction or WWE would find themselves without anything for her to do again.

Alexa Bliss was last seen by fans on the Masked Singer. Then she had to have some problem areas removed after skin cancer scare.

Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt reuniting is desired by fans, but WWE hasn’t made it happen yet. The fact that Bliss is still off television as Wyatt recovers from his mysterious physical issue is also notable, because it could indicate that their reunion is still in the plans.

There is a lot to unpack in this situation, and everyone in WWE is being very tight-lipped about Bray Wyatt’s status. Perhaps fans will get full answers someday, but until then they will just have to keep tuning in each week, hoping for his eventual return.

What’s your take on Bray Wyatt’s absence? Is WWE going to release him again? Sound off in the comments!
