AEW newcomer Komander may have already suffered an injury, after just signing with the company recently.

According to a report from Post Wrestling, Komander may have suffered an injury during his match for Demand Lucha. The event was held in Toronto, where Komander made a surprise appearance after it was said he couldn’t appear due to a travel issue.

During the match, Komander attempted a moonsault and was seen favoring his knee when he got up. He was then taken backstage, and the match ended with Gringo Loco retaining his title. There is no official word on the extent of Komander’s injury at this time.

It’s unclear at this point how long Komander will be out of action if the injury is confirmed, but fans will be hoping for a speedy recovery. Injuries are an unfortunate reality in the world of professional wrestling, and it’s always difficult to see talented wrestlers sidelined.
