AEW Double or Nothing will go down in Las Vegas on May 28th. This week’s AEW Dynamite included a big match to determine the main event of that show.

Sammy Guevara and Darby Allin battled in the finals of the company’s shot Pillars Tournament. Guevara and Jungle Boy wrestled last week, with The Spanish God pulling down the win. Allin received a bye in the two-match tournament.

MJF was really on Sammy Guevara’s side for this match. They arranged a deal before the match that if Sammy wins, then he will lay down for the Salt of the Earth at Double or Nothing.

The match ended in DQ as MJF faked a skateboard attack. Then they announced that the match was over and Sammy Guevara won. This cemented the main event of Double or Nothing.

Then Tony Schiavone got on the microphone and announced that Tony Khan said that MJF and Sammy Guevara will battle Darby Allin and Jungle next week on Dynamite. If Jungle Boy and Allin win the match, then we will have a 4 Pillars main event at Double or Nothing.

We will have to see how this turns out, but it seems that we have a controversial main event right now for Double or Nothing. Then again, things can change.
