Pro wrestling comes with its fair share of risks, and that is especially true for performers who go all out in the ring every time. Fenix never holds back, but now the ROH Tag Team Champion will have to take some time off.

It was previously noted that Fenix suffered a couple of light injuries. While no specific condition was mentioned, the phrase “banged up” was used.

Dave Meltzer confirmed Fenix’s injury status in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He stated that Fenix is banged up and needs to take some time off the road. It’s unclear how much time he will be off television.

Fenix has a few big events coming up for AEW that he doesn’t want to miss. He is also involved in ROH now, so that gives him even more activity that he’s absent from. Hopefully, he will be able to rest up and get back on the road soon.

Fenix really does give his all to every match. His innovative style also does a lot of damage to his body. The severity of the risks in his matches, and the fact that he’s not afraid to take any bump at all, really adds to this current issue he’s facing.

Do you miss Fenix on AEW television? Should Tony Khan make him World Champion one day? Soudn off in the comments!
