WWE Hall Of Famer Kane is certainly one of the most respected and loved Superstars in the company. Kane has competed in numerous matches in his career and has been part of several memorable moments. That said, there are a few Superstars he never got to share the ring with and that includes Kevin Nash. Now it appears Nash finally revealed why he never faced Kane in WWE.

Kane made his debut during the infamous Hell In A Cell match at Badd Blood 1997 and went on a warpath since then. He was seen as the biggest monster in all of WWE and barely anyone could stand up to him. Kevin Nash was one of the only Superstars who could stand toe to toe with him but a match never happened during the height of their careers.

Kevin Nash made his return to WWE back in 2002 alongside Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall to reform the nWo. For those who don’t remember, Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall squared off against The Rock and Steve Austin respectively at WrestleMania 18. However, Kevin Nash didn’t face anyone at the event.

While speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash talked about why WWE never had him face Kane in WWE. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that WWE likely never had plans for him and Kane to cross paths around that time.

“I don’t know if we were ever going that way. I mean, you would think if they were going to, it would have been out of the shoot and I would have went to ‘Mania with him, and Scott with Austin, so I don’t think they really had [plans].”

Kevin Nash would eventually part ways with WWE and compete in TNA for several years before returning to WWE for a brief run and eventually hanging up his pro wrestling boots for good. Nash had a storied career but his not being able to face Kane at WrestleMania will always remain one of WWE’s ‘what if’ dream matches.

What’s your take on what Kevin Nash said? Do you think he and Kane should have wrestled each other? Sound off in the comments!
