Tragic New Detail About Bushwhacker Butch’s Passing Revealed

The pro wrestling world lost a bona fide legend and WWE Hall of Famer when Bushwhacker Butch passed away. A short time after his passing has gone by, and now we know a little bit more about what happened.

Following Butch’s passing, the pro wrestling world reacted in a huge way. Chris Jericho and Tony Khan also dropped lot of money on his GoFundMe.

Bushwhacker Butch flew in from New Zealand to Los Angeles for WrestleCon, but he never made it to the event. The legendary performer fell ill, and he was taken to the hospital. Sadly, it seems that Butch forgot to take one of his pills with him and that caused the complications that led to his passing.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that Butch might still be with us today, if he only remembered to pack his water pills.

What happened was when he flew over from New Zealand, which is a long flight, he forgot to pack one of his water pills to keep his blood pressure down. By the time he got in, it had been four days since he took his pills, because of the length of the trip and everything like that, and essentially that is what ended up klling him. His blood pressure went sky-high. He was rushed to the hospital and he never recovered.”

They were hopeful that Bushwhacker Butch would recover and be able to attend WrestleCon, but “after the first day he didn’t know who he was, he didn’t know his name anymore, and it went downhill fast.”

Our thoughts go out to Bushwhacker Butch’s family, friends, and fans. This is a very sad time, and Butch meant a lot to millions of people around the world. Sadly, he didn’t pack the proper pills and that resulted in this tragic event.
