Omos quickly established himself as a formidable opponent for anyone in a WWE ring and he has some surprising supporters as well. His status as a living giant was put to the test at WrestleMania 39, where Omos squared off against Brock Lesnar. He wasn’t able to topple The Beast, which seemed highly unlikely anyway. That said, it seems Booker T believes Omos should have beaten Lesnar at the Show of Shows.

Fans were immediately appalled when it was made clear that Brock Lesnar would be squaring off against Omos at WrestleMania 39. This is because many fans felt Lesnar deserved a better opponent than someone like Omos.

Nonetheless, WWE had their mind set on the match and it finally took place at the Show of Shows. While Omos tried his best to defeat The Beast Incarnate, Lesnar ended his dreams with a massive F5 for the win.

While speaking on Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T talked about Brock Lesnar vs Omos at WrestleMania 39. Booker T stated that he believes Omos should have defeated Brock Lesnar in order to establish himself as an “ultimate giant.”

“To have someone like Brock Lesnar to help him [Omos] grow, I thought that could’ve been a good thing but obviously they’ve got other plans, with Brock, you know, doing the thing with Cody Rhodes. Maybe Brock and Cody look like they’re gonna mix it up. Cody may have to go through Brock to go to the next level — I get it. But I did think that was a moment that we could’ve really made Omos the ‘ultimate giant.’ Yeah, I think we missed the moment.”

Brock Lesnar decimated Cody Rhodes on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. In response to that, The American Nightmare challenged Lesnar to a match at the upcoming Backlash Premium Live Event. As for Omos, his WWE future plans seem uncertain right now. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see what will become of Omos.

What’s your take on what Booker T said? Do you think WWE will have something major planned for Omos in the future? Sound off in the comments!
