WWE Monday Night RAW may have had some last-minute changes ahead of the show, with one match and a segment reportedly being pulled from the card.

Earlier in the day, the official WWE website and social media accounts had advertised a match between Matt Riddle and The Miz, as well as a segment featuring Damian Priest addressing the incident with Bad Bunny.

However, before the show even started, these items were no longer listed on the site, leaving only the previously advertised segment with Cody Rhodes and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match between champions Becky Lynch and Lita and challengers Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

There is no official word from WWE on why the changes were made, but it has fueled speculation that the company’s chairman, Vince McMahon, may be taking a more hands-on approach to creative decisions. McMahon was not backstage for the show, but the sudden alterations have left fans wondering about the state of WWE’s creative direction.

This is not the first time WWE has made changes to its planned programming, as the company often adjusts its shows in real-time to respond to changing circumstances or ratings. However, the sudden removal of a match and segment from RAW has led to speculation that something may be amiss behind the scenes.

As of yet, there is no word on when or if the Riddle/Miz match or the Priest segment will air on WWE programming in the future. However, fans can still look forward to the Cody Rhodes segment and the Women’s Tag Team Title Match, which will be the main focus of tonight’s episode of RAW.

As a reminder, Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show and will have any late breaking news heading into the event.
