This week’s episode of SmackDown ended with Jey Uso beating Sami Zayn in a singles match. After the match, Solo Sikoa continued to pummel Sami Zayn relentlessly while Jey Uso watched from the corner.

Then Solo Sikoa geared up for another Samoan Spike, but Jey Uso held his little brother’s arm back. The tension between the two men was thick as they locked eyes. Suddenly, a returning Riddle stormed into the ring to rescue Zayn. With lightning speed, Riddle ran off Sikoa and Jey, leaving Zayn and himself standing tall in the ring as SmackDown faded to black.

After the show went off the air, Matt Riddle and Sami Zayn had a little moment in the ring. After all, Kevin Owens couldn’t be there for the match thanks to a backstage beatdown angle.

The Bloodline members left as Matt Riddle urged them to come back to the ring. Then Riddle checked on Sami Zayn as he caught his breath. It was quite a moment after SmackDown, and only for the live fans.

Thankfully, one fan in attendance shot a video of the event, and you can check it out below. We’ll have to see what’s next for Matt Riddle, but this marks the second time we’ve seen him on WWE television this week, so that has to be a good sign for him.
