WWE’s show of shows went down over the weekend, and SoFi Stadium was packed with fans. Every fan came dressed for the occasion, and a lot of WWE merchandise was around. Some of them brought title belts to carry around like World Champion fans, but others cosplayed as their favorite Superstars. One cosplay got a certain fan in trouble.

One fan’s attempt to pay homage to a wrestling legend ended up getting him in quite a situation at WrestleMania 39. Kevin Hunsperger attended WrestleMania dressed as Big Boss Man, but it didn’t go according to plan at all. He claims that he was kicked out of the event on Sunday for allegedly impersonating a cop.

According to Hunsperger, security at the WrestleMania Saturday took issue with a patch from a Georgia sheriff’s department that he had on his sleeve. This matched the cosplay of the Big Boss Man perfectly, but it was a bit too realistic. He claims that he attended night one of the event dressed as Big Boss Man without incident, but on the second night, he was reportedly asked to leave the stadium by a security guard. Hunsperger removed the patch, but the guard still allegedly insisted that he was impersonating a cop, so he had to go. Maybe that security guard was a Nailz fan.

Fans at the event tried to jump in and help out. They tried to tell this security guard that he was cosplaying as a WWE Hall of Famer, but it didn’t work. The fan eventually complied with the security guard’s request and left the venue. He did return to the stadium, but he didn’t give up on his tribute to the wrestling legend. Hunsperger changed into a Big Boss Man t-shirt and got back into the event.

Interestingly enough, he attended the event with his friend, who cosplayed as The Mountie. Apparently, nobody in SoFi Stadium had an issue with that impersonation of authority.

You can check out the video of his story below. It was quite a WrestleMania event full of fans, and security guards who apparently aren’t fans.

What’s your take on this story about WrestleMania? Would you have kicked this guy out? Sound off in the comments!
