WWE NXT Superstar Sol Ruca made her WrestleMania debut in a most unusual way this past weekend. The NXT Superstar revealed on Instagram that she was the one who donned the costume to portray the Cinnamoji character at WrestleMania 39.
The mascot of the new, limited-edition Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal character was at ringside during the Rey Mysterio vs Dominik Mysterio match. The deeply personal rivalry between the father and son duo was sponsored by Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Ruca also shared other highlights of her WrestleMania week, including being a coach at an NXT tryout. It’s worth noting that just over a year ago, she was a trainee at an NXT event herself.
Ruca made her TV debut as part of NXT in September 2022. Her debut on the gold brand came months after making her in-ring debut in June 2022 during an NXT live event in Jacksonville, Florida. The Ontario, California native joined WWE with a background in acrobatics and was part of the University of Oregon tumbling team.
Ruca’s involvement in the event may have been small, but it’s a significant milestone in her wrestling career. She’s part of a new generation of NXT Superstars looking to make their mark in the industry.
What did you think of Sol Ruca’s debut at WrestleMania 39 as the Cinnamoji character? Do you think we’ll see more of her on WWE television in the future? Leave a comment.
