WWE isn’t ballet, and this is another reminder of that. Although his in-ring return was very short, it seems that Shane McMahon still suffered an injury.

Shane McMahon shocked the WWE Universe when he returned during WrestleMania Sunday. He was placed in an impromptu match against The Miz, but he couldn’t finish the contest. Instead, Snoop Dogg had to put The Miz down after Shane McMahon suffered an apparent injury during the match.

PW Insider dropped a note about Shane McMahon’s situation. This obviously wasn’t the way that they wanted this segment to go down at all.

Shane McMahon twisted his knee or ankle during his WWE return and couldn’t get back up to complete the segment.

While Snoop Dogg and The Miz continued the segment, Shane was taken out of the ring and helped out to ringside.

It was further noted that Shane McMahon “was taken to the back through the crowd, with several supporting him from under his arms.”

It seems that Shane McMahon was okay enough that he didn’t need to be carried out. He was not stretchered out and walked out as he was supported by others.

This WrestleMania segment obviously didn’t go the way they intended. We’ll have to see what’s next for Shane-O Mac and when we see him again.

What’s your take on Shane McMahon’s short WWE return? Did you see this coming at all? Sound off in the comments!
