Enzo Amore was a featured name in MLW, but those days are over. He was released out of the blue, but now we know exactly why he was let go.

This isn’t the first time that Enzo Amore has been released by a pro wrestling company. After all, he was let go from WWE years ago after he failed to inform the company about a police investigation into allegations that turned out to be unfounded.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that MLW and Enzo Amore are no longer working together after the former WWE Superstar kept turning down creative ideas. This seems to be an issue with booking and putting over other talent.

Fightful Select has learned that Enzo will no longer be used in MLW, as the company decided to sever ties with him. Sources familiar with the situation claimed that Enzo had declined much of the upcoming creative and wasn’t interested in working with some top talent in the company. Those we spoke to said there were also issues with him putting over other talent at upcoming shows.

It was further noted that, “Enzo had been on a per appearance deal with MLW for just over a year and became heavily featured on the show.” It seems that MLW and Enzo Amore’s days working together are over for now.

We will have to see if Enzo Amore and MLW can mend things and work together again. For that matter, Real1 could end up in another pro wrestling company. While a WWE return might be far-fetched, he did generate a ton of merchandise money with his catchphrases and Vince McMahon’s company is more open for business than ever.
