WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff is true veteran of professional wrestling. Due to his veteran status, his opinion is still taken seriously, for the most part. That being said, Bischoff has largely been critical of AEW. In fact, it seems Bischoff would not want to be anywhere near AEW.

As many people are aware by now, Tony Khan and Eric Bischoff do not necessarily have the best of relationships. The two had a falling out back in 2021, and it has not really gotten any better.

Last year, the WWE Hall Of Famer even called AEW a ‘vanity project.’ In fact, Easy E even repeatedly criticized AEW for having poorly crafted storylines and having matches for the sake of it.

While speaking on an “Ask Me Anything” edition of the 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff was asked if he would ever return to wrestling and which company he would work for. Bischoff made it clear he would never work for AEW.

“There wouldn’t be. If there was some kind of fun thing that I could do with WWE and Bruce (Prichard), sure, that would be fun. I’d have to be able to do it from my home, which makes it impossible and not realistic, and I would not want to be anywhere near AEW in any way shape or form.”

Eric Bischoff also believes NXT will outperform AEW in ratings soon enough. We will have to wait and see what Eric Bischoff will do next. Regardless, fans should not expect to see him in AEW anytime soon.
