WWE has a lot of plans in the pipeline, and Superstars are also free to pitch their own ideas. That being said, sometimes things just don’t pan out the way that everyone would prefer.

Dana Brooke was the last WWE 24/7 Champion before she lost the title to Nikki Cross. The title is now defunct, but that wasn’t always the plan if you ask Brooke.

While speaking to Fightful, Dana Brooke admitted that there were a lot of unused ideas for the WWE 24/7 Title. She also wanted to transition the title into something that might have a bit more importance, a Women’s Intercontinental Title.

“I had a lot of ideas and a lot of passionate things I wanted to do and be serious with it. I wanted [to] actually maybe transition it to a women’s Intercontinental title because I feel like that’s something that would motivate women to keep going and have something else to fight for.”

The WWE 24/7 Title was trashed by Nikki Cross after she won the belt. She actually missed the garbage can, but the point was still made.

Now Dana Brooke is looking for her next niche in WWE. She certainly had a lot of fun with the WWE 24/7 Title, but that time wasn’t meant to last.
