Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler’s return to AEW was kept very close to the vest. FTR’s return was a closely guarded secret, to help maintain one of the few surprises during the big event.

FTR’s return was kept very quiet backstage.

The current belief within AEW is that FTR inked new deal with the company. According to a new report from PW Insider, FTR’s absence from AEW programming was only a storyline situation.

FTR’s return to AEW should really shake up the tag team division. After all, they made their presence known after the Gunns retained their titles, and then Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler proceeded to hold up the AEW World Tag Team Titles after they cleared the ring.

Do you think FTR made the right move by sticking around AEW? Should they have tried their luck with WWE again? Sound off in the comments and become a part of the conversation!
