Vince McMahon returned to WWE as Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors, but Triple H is still calling the shots on television. Triple H is the man making the creative calls about what fans see on the road to WrestleMania, but one certain booking decision made a lot of fans question who’s really in charge.

Recently, Wrestle Votes, a social media account that has been known to post misleading or false information, posted a tweet suggesting that Vince McMahon was involved in booking the highly anticipated WrestleMania match between Brock Lesnar and Omos. While the tweet did not directly mention McMahon by name, it did include an animated gif of Mr. McMahon putting on a crown, which many interpreted as a nod to his position as the CEO of WWE.

Despite the lack of concrete evidence linking McMahon to the booking decision, the tweet has sparked widespread speculation among fans and industry insiders alike about his potential involvement in the match.

Ringside News previously reached out to confirm that Vince McMahon is back in creative, and we could not confirm this with anyone. We explicitly asked about the Brock Lesnar vs Omos booking as well. The best answer we received that could give any weight to that idea was a simple, “I don’t know.”

Sean Sapp also reported that Vince McMahon is not back in creative. He reported the same on the subject, “Sources within WWE that would be in the position to know tell Fightful Select that these fears are unfounded. We couldn’t get any confirmations on those talent’s fears, as noted in the original post. HHH has been open that Vince has input, and is been adamant to talent that HHH has final say.”

The upcoming WrestleMania event is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated events in the world of professional wrestling, and fans are eagerly anticipating the lineup of matches that will take place. While the specifics of the event have yet to be determined, it is widely believed that Triple H will play a significant role in shaping the event’s direction.

Despite some reservations from fans about the booking of the Omos vs Brock Lesnar match, there has been no official confirmation that Vince McMahon, the iconic chairman and CEO of WWE, had any involvement in that particular creative decision. However, as one of the most influential figures in the world of professional wrestling, McMahon’s influence on the direction of WrestleMania and the wider industry cannot be overlooked. Ultimately, only time will tell how the road to WrestleMania shapes up, and what role Triple H, Vince McMahon, and other industry insiders will play in crafting the event’s lineup of matches and storylines.
