Carmella is known for her moon walking and trash talking personality in the squared circle, but she has other talents. The Princess of Staten Island can also talk, and it might have also opened up a new possibility for her in WWE.

While joining her husband, Corey Graves, on WWE After The Bell, Carmella spoke about her recent segment at the WWE commentary table. She loved the experience and wouldn’t be opposed to doing more of that kind of thing.

Carmella contributed her easy transition to WWE commentary on her marriage with Corey Graves. She pays attention to whenever her husband says things about his own job, and that helped give her a roadmap.

“I had so much fun. I had a blast, truly. I got to be my character, but also know the point of why I was out there. I wasn’t out there to just talk about myself. I want to make fun of Asuka, Raquel, and Nikki Cross. To be honest, I think the reason why I did pretty decent at it is because I am married to you. I’m not just saying that to talk about how amazing you are, but I listen to you. When you complain about something or if you’re upset or if you’re like, ‘this works so well on commentary last week when I said this and this person did that.’ I absorb what you say and I feel because I do pay attention to you and I watch how you do things, I was able to just apply that a little bit. I’m not saying I’m going to be some amazing play-by-play or color commentator in the future, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it,” she said.

“If I did do it, I would have to do with Michael Cole and not you. I would divorce you over that. You’d be yelling at me, telling me how terrible I am, there is no way in hell.”

Carmella’s recent return to WWE television saw her bring that Princess of Staten Island character back once again. She is able to show a lot more of herself now, even though there was an initial fear that her gimmick might upset Lita.

We will have to see what’s next for Carmella, but even if things don’t work out in the ring, she could always try her hand at the WWE commentary table.
