Dominik Mysterio was exposed to national television at an incredibly young age, when he found himself in the middle of a custody battle between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero. The 2005 storyline would serve as a precedent for ex-con Dom’s ongoing feud with Rey Mysterio.

Dom turned heel on Rey and Edge at Clash at the Castle premium live event. The young superstar got himself a new family in the Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley). Dom and the rest of JD forced Rey to switch brands to WWE SmackDown, but things only got worse from there.

Dom took a page out of Eddie Guerrero’s playbook when he grew his hair into a mullet. The new look, however, led to fans questioning whether or not he was Rey’s son. Speaking to Inside the Ropes, Dominik said he is thinking about getting a DNA test of his own to determine who actually is his father.

“A lot of people keep tagging me because of this mullet I’ve got going on… because of Eddie, listen I’m questioning my mom here at this point because I see the WCW pictures of my dad getting unmasked, and they tag me in that, and then I get the side-by-sides of Eddie and I get tagged in that. And I’m just sitting over here scratching my head. I think I’m going to do my own DNA test at this point, because I don’t know what’s going on.”

Dominik Mysterio believes Eddie Guerrero should’ve won his custody as well. It remains to be seen if ex-con Dom will get a DNA test before his expected match against Rey Mysterio at the upcoming WrestleMania 39 premium live event.

The Judgment Day will once again be on WWE SmackDown this Friday for Mami’s match against Liv Morgan. Expect another confrontation between Rey and Dom on the blue brand. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more.
