SmackDown was a successful show this week, and they even saw viewership boost. It seems that the show saw a couple of changes, and they might have been a bit late in the day as well.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE switched up a couple of plans for this week. It was originally planned for Tegan Nox to sell an injury, as we previously reported that this angle was planned. It turns out that WWE must have changed their mind about that.

Liv Morgan wasn’t around on television, but she was apparently planned to be a part of the broadcast. It was noted that she was planned for the show “a few hours” before it started, so this was another late change as well.

-Tegan Nox was originally planned to sell a knee injury backstage on the show.

– Liv Morgan was planned for a backstage segment as of a few hours before the show as well.

We’ll have to see if they circle back around to any of these ideas. Obviously, Liv Morgan could always appear again, but Tegan Nox’s opportunity to sell that injury might have passed unless they want to run another angle.
