WWE has their eyes on a lot of people on the indies, and in other companies. After all, a number of people out there could benefit their roster. Triple H might have interest in bringing back one of his favorite NXT tag teams, but it seems that talks have grown quiet.

It was previously reported that Paul Ellering was involved in talks to bring back AOP. This gave a lot of fans hope that Akam and Rezar would make their return.

Sean Scott reported another update behind Fightful’s paywall to provide a bit of an update. Sadly, talks have been a bit quiet on that front, so it might not be an immediate return, if it does end up happening.

Outside of the news of Paul Ellering leading talks between AOP and WWE, things have been quiet on that front.

WWE has brought back plenty of people that Vince McMahon released for one reason or another. Only time will tell how long it will be until Vince McMahon regains the ability to make those calls once again, if he does at all. It would be very interesting to see if he will reverse some of those Triple H decisions to bring them back.
