Sasha Banks decided to walk out on WWE instead of carry on with Vince McMahon’s booking plan for her. Naomi walked out with her, but only Banks made her NJPW debut as Mercedes Mone. It turns out that Triple H supported this decision.

Mercedes Mone recently dropped a twenty-two-minute long documentary about her NJPW debut. The documentary walked fans through her journey, one that brought her from WWE to NJPW.

During that documentary, Mercedes Mone claimed that Triple H and William Regal both texted her before her NJPW debut. She got very emotional about this as she told the camera about the messages.

“And also at midnight, I got a very nice text from Triple H, and still it’s crazy, and I got an amazing text from William Regal this morning.”

There is a thought in WWE that Sasha Banks will eventually make her way back to the company. Some are under the opinion that this is why she wasn’t brought into AEW, despite the obvious “Boss” teases prior to Saraya’s mystery partner reveal. This could be a reason why Tony Khan didn’t bring Mercedes Mone in if she has no intention of signing a longer deal which would keep her from making a WWE return.

Only time will tell what’s next for Sasha Banks, but she is still lighting up the world as Mercedes Mone. It also appears that she has plenty of support from WWE to do so.

You can check out the documentary below. As always, keep it tuned here at Ringside News for more.
