Adam Page remains one of the mainstays of AEW television, as he is one of the original talent signed to the company in 2019. He is clearly a fan-favorite thanks to his relatable character work. That being said, it seems Page was almost detained at the border before AEW Dynamite.

Things have not been the same for Adam Page since he lost the AEW World Championship at Double Or Nothing, as he was unable to defeat CM Punk last year.

He was also knocked out by Jon Moxley during a previous episode of AEW Dynamite, which led to a longstanding feud with the Purveyor of Violence. The two have already faced each other thrice.

While speaking during a virtual signing for Highspots Superstore, the Anxious Millennial Cowboy revealed that he was nearly detained at a border checkpoint before this week’s AEW Dynamite.

“I almost got detained at the border last night too, yeah. I might’ve ended up in Mexico by accident. I still don’t know. I had to go through a border crossing check and someone in the car who is not an American citizen didn’t have their passport… I fly into San Antonio and then drove two-and-a-half hours to Laredo because Laredo would have been three flights and that’s just too many. It’s one too many at least… It doesn’t make sense, I don’t know. You tell me. You’re from Laredo, you tell me how I went through a border crossing without crossing a border, I don’t know. But we did, we almost got detained but, I’m here. I am not in prison in America or Mexico. I’m doing well.”

Jon Moxley and Adam Page will be battling it out at AEW Revolution in March once again. We will have to wait and see who will come out on top and finally become the true victor in the feud.
