Ronda Rousey’s In-Ring Return Announced For WWE SmackDown This Week

WWE SmackDown is set to take place this week from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. This will be the final SmackDown before WWE Elimination Chamber. While the focus is on the upcoming Premium Live Event, WWE announced a huge women’s tag team match for the show.

A couple of months ago, Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey broke Natalya’s nose, leaving her in a pool of her own blood. Following the incident, Natalya had to get reconstructive surgery on her nose, which meant she was absent from television.

Natalya made her return at the 2023 Royal Rumble match and is now looking for revenge against Shayna Baszler. Last week on the blue brand, Natalya called out Shayna by calling her a “cheap knockoff version of Ronda Rousey.”

Shayna Baszler came out to confront Natalya but was soon joined by Ronda Rousey and the two of them ganged up on Natalya. However, Shotzi who has also had problems with Ronda and Shayna came to Natalya’s aid. WWE has now announced that a tag team will take place this week on Smackdown between Natalya & Shotzi and Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler.
