AEW has a lot of things going on, and it’s always important for their wrestlers to stay in the best possible health. Sometimes that’s not the easiest thing to do, given how physically demanding their jobs are. It seems that Hikaru Shida is suffering from a bit of an injury, which is keeping her out of action.

During a recent game stream, Shida was asked when she would be back on AEW TV. It turns out that she has a bit of an issue with her finger.

“I’m going to the show every week. To be honest, I have a little injury in my finger. It’s alright. It’s good. I can play game . It’s alright. Maybe soon, I can wrestle.”

Hikaru Shida is a former AEW World Women’s Champion, and she held that title throughout a majority of the pandemic. She never quite returned to that level since dropping her title, but a new look and demeanor were getting some attention on the AEW roster. Hopefully, she will get a bit more love from Tony Khan’s booking, so she can return to the top of AEW’s women’s roster.

Hopefully, Hikaru Shida is able to get back to in-ring action soon enough. In the meantime, she is having a lot of fun streaming Hogwarts Legacy along with millions of others as they make their way through that wildly popular game. You can check out the live stream below.
