WWE Hall of Famer Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts has been part of the AEW since 2020. Before that, Roberts established himself as a huge name in WWE. His cerebral style of promos struck fear into the hearts of his opponents. However, it seems one particular fan legitimately tried to end Jake Robert’s life during a show.

Jake Roberts worked in WWE for many years and knows how Vince McMahon functions. Roberts even blasted Vince McMahon previously for humiliating people in WWE. That being said, Roberts has many interesting stories to tell fans from his days as a pro wrestler.

Being a heel during the golden days of pro wrestling was never an easy task, as many fans still believed their characters were real. This sometimes put wrestlers lives at risk.

While speaking with Derricks Reptiles, the WWE Hall Of Famer shared a horrific story in Dallas, Texas, where he faced Sting. Roberts recalled a fan shooting at him during the show.

Craziest one would have been in Dallas, Texas. I was wrestling Sting. A guy stood up in the ninth row, reached in his jacket. [He] pulled out a pistol and started shooting at me. He got three shots off. Missed me. That’s about as crazy as it gets. I jumped my ass out of that ring, got underneath the ring and hid.

Jake Roberts also believes modern pro wrestling took out big tradition that used to be the norm back in the day. Roberts will continue to share more bizarre stories about his larger-than-life experiences and fans can’t wait to hear them.
