You never know when an injury can pop up and derail plans. Eddie Kingston worked hard to make a name for himself in pro wrestling, but he recently came down with an injury that forced him on the sidelines.

Eddie Kingston never stopped giving back, even after signing with AEW. He is also known to give half of his indie wrestling paychecks back to local charities. He didn’t get a chance to do that this time around.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez explained that Eddie Kingston is injured, and he had to pull out of a Defy show. Alvarez was at that Defy show, and he reported that Kingston hopes to be at AEW Dynamite this week regardless, and he also plans to wrestle Jay White that next weekend.

Apparently, he couldn’t work a show on this day, but this is an injury where there are severities to it and everything like that, but I guess he thinks he’ll be able to be at TV on Wednesday and then do the match against Jay White on Saturday. So, it’ll be something he’ll have to gut through, it’s not gonna be like, healed, but hopefully he’ll be alright, but he had to miss the Defy show.

Apparently, he was injured on Wednesday, but he wasn’t on the show, so I don’t know if they were doing something, or what the story was, but yeah, he missed the Defy show, so hopefully he gets better soon.

Eddie Kingston has a lot of things that he wants to accomplish in the pro wrestling world. He grinded hard on the indies for years, and now he’s finally making good money for a nationally broadcast pro wrestling company. Obviously, Kingston has come a long way, so we’re hoping an injury doesn’t stop him in his tracks.
