The wrestling business is known to have its share of power couples prevailing in the modern era. A highly recognized duo in today’s product has to be RAW Women’s champion Bianca Belair and Street Profits member Montez Ford. The couple has been together for a long time, and recently it was reported that Belair and Ford have started filming for a reality series.
WWE CEO Nick Khan had previously announced that Bianca Belair and Montez Ford would be starring in an upcoming series that will air on Hulu in 2023. Khan made the statement during the 2022 third-quarter earnings call.
Bianca Beliar recently revealed some details regarding the show. She also noted that the filming started at last week’s Royal Rumble event, which would be used as content for the first episode. Belair seemed excited and nervous at the same time for the series during her conversation with Matt Aguilar of ComicBook Nation.
“Oh, it’s gonna be fun. It’s gonna be exciting. We’re actually gonna start filming at the Royal Rumble, that’s gonna be our first episode. So we’re starting filming this weekend. I’m excited for it. You know, everybody sees us in the ring, but we’re gonna peel back the curtain a little bit. My husband [Montez Ford], He’s like my homie, my best friend.
We just live life together and our goal is to always try to find the fun in the moments. Our family is such a huge part of who we are. They’re always at all the events, there at our house. We never can get alone time together because there’s always there. So we’re just gonna show that to the fans and have fun with it. I’m nervous, but I’m excited, and we’ll see what happens. We see everybody on Twitter saying how they want a show, and they’re gonna watch, so you better watch because we need the ratings [laughs].”
Bianca Belair and Montez Ford met in WWE and were revealed to be engaged in 2017. The couple went on to get married to each other in 2018, with Bianca accepting Montez’s children from his previous relationship as well.
Montez Ford has achieved success as a part of The Street Profits tag team alongside Angelo Dawkins. While Bianca Belair has ascended to the top of the WWE women’s division as a main-event star.
The couple has been together through their good times and struggles. It would be interesting to see the everyday life of this power couple as their series is set to debut in the future on Hulu. Check back at Ringside News as we follow up on this story.
