All Elite Wrestling has emerged as one of the most innovative and exciting professional wrestling companies. The land of the giants, which was mostly dominated by the global juggernaut, WWE now finds itself standing across direct competitor in AEW. Apart from signing various ex-WWE superstars, it looks AEW’s next move will be to start their own streaming platform.

An article by Bloomberg has Tony Khan talking about AEW, speaking about its history since its inception in 2019. Furthermore, the land of All Elite has been considered the first true competitor that WWE has faced in years since the demise of WCW.

According to that same article, it seems only a matter of time before All Elite Wrestling begins its own streaming service. This could either be on their own OTT platform or giving the streaming rights to other service providers, just as WWE has Peacock.

Tony Khan, coming from the helm of acquiring Ring of Honor might explore this opportunity for the betterment and progression of his company. They could mostly likely ink a deal with their broadcast partner, Warner Bros, Discovery Inc.

“In March, Khan acquired the small but respected pro wrestling company Ring of Honor from Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. for an undisclosed sum, adding a new crop of wrestlers, some intellectual property and an extensive video library. AEW is also considering starting a streaming service, likely through a deal with its broadcast partner, Warner Bros. Discovery Inc., according to a person familiar with management’s thinking, who asked not to be named. Last year, AEW broke $100 million in annual revenue for the first time.”

AEW currently has a deal with WBD for broadcasting their flagship show, Dynamite, and one-hour show, Rampage with TNT. Moreover, their streaming shows such as AEW Dark and Dark Elevation currently air on YouTube, and PPV shows air on Bleacher Report.

In the span of three years, AEW has become notable wrestling company thanks to the efforts of Tony Khan, his backstage management, and his in-ring competitors. The year 2023 already has seen AEW revamp its entire presentation and behind-the-scenes strategy. Tune in to Ringside News as we follow this story.
