The Boogeyman haunted WWE superstars including Booker T and JBL during his first stint with the company. The real-life Martin Wright appeared on RAW, SmackDown and ECW between 2005 and 2009.

PW Insider reported on Tuesday that The Boogeyman went under the knife for a knee complication. The former SmackDown superstar recently dropped a vide of him performing several movements, which seems to imply that he may already be on his road to recovery.

Former WWE star Marty “The Boogeyman” Wright underwent surgery last week, PWInsider.com has learned.

The belief is he underwent a procedure on his knee and is currently rehabbing.

The Boogeyman is currently signed to WWE under a legends deal. His last appearance for the company transpired on January 4, 2021, when he helped R-Truth reclaim the 24/7 title from Angel Garza.
