Cody Rhodes left AEW back in February 2022, shocking fans with his actions. Prior to his departure, Rhodes was a standout performer on AEW television, elevating the careers of many up-and-coming wrestlers. Despite several months passing since his exit, fans remain curious about the reasons behind it and continue to discuss it.

Despite being heavily booed in AEW towards the end of his run, Cody Rhodes refused to turn heel. Despite fan demand, he stands firm in his decision and has no regrets.

The American Nightmare served as the Executive Vice President of AEW during his time with the company. In fact, Rhodes was one of the people who helped launch AEW back in 2019.

“He played the politics game better than anybody in history and sucked up to Tony Khan-man and got his way all the time. What the hell is a Chief Brand Officer? What does that even mean other than to feed your ego?”

Cody Rhodes is a big deal in WWE now and is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Title at WrestleMania 39. We’ll have to see how their feud will develop in the coming weeks.
