The wrestling world was left shocked by the resurgence of Bray Wyatt back to WWE last year. The Eater of Worlds came back to the company after being away from wrestling, which came right after suffering various deep personal losses. Moreover, Bray recently revealed that he lost the meaning of life following these major setbacks.

The former WWE Universal champion was one of the biggest star attractions ever since he debuted his Bray Wyatt character in 2012. Moreover, Wyatt rose to the top of WWE battling marquee stars like Roman Reigns, John Cena, and The Undertaker and being featured in high-profile programs.

However, following his loss to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37, Bray Wyatt disappeared from television programming. Moreover, Wyatt was released from WWE three months later, much to the surprise of fans.

Bray Wyatt stayed away from the world of professional wrestling for almost a year. But the former WWE champion finally emerged back to WWE at last year’s WWE Extreme Rules event, signaling the return of dark days in the company.

Bray Wyatt recently opened up about the entire situation. He mentioned losing two people close to him, including Brodie Lee, and being fired from his job saw Wyatt lose himself in the process. He spoke about this during an interview with  Ryan Satin on Out of Character.

“There was so much going on, and it was out of nowhere. I wasn’t prepared for any of that. I lost my childhood best friend, I lost Brodie (Lee), I lost my best friend from college, Mark Olive. It was something that I think I didn’t deal with very well. Brodie’s wife Amanda and his kids dealt with it better than me and (Erick) Rowan did. There is something there that reminds me of him every single day. That time period was such a conundrum for me, and I wasn’t myself. It took me a while to remember what makes me, me. It was a long journey, but it’s led me here to this moment. This is the best I’ve ever felt.”

Bray Wyatt has not wrestled on live television programming since his return back in October 2022. He is set to face LA Knight at this weekend’s Royal Rumble event in the first-ever ‘Mountain Dew Pitch Black match.’
