WWE Superstars have a great job, because of all the perks involved. Nothing lasts forever, and it’s always possible to lose your job, especially in WWE. That being said, one former Superstar apparently made it his mission to get other guys bumped off the roster.

Hardcore Holly largely made a name for himself in WWE, where he competed on both Monday Night RAW as well as Friday Night Smackdown. He was also part of WWE’s version of ECW for a while. That being said, Holly had a bad reputation for being stiff with his opponents and being unruly in general. It seems Holly was recently called out for trying to get WWE talent fired.

Hardcore Holly made a few appearances in WWE back in 1991, but would officially sign a deal with the company in 1994. Holly worked in the company for the next 15 years as an in-ring worker, during which he held the WWE Tag Team Championship and the Hardcore Title.

Bob Holly was eventually released by the company back in January 2009. While speaking on the latest episode of his Cafe de Rene podcast, former WWE Superstar Renee Dupree talked about working with Hardcore Holly.

Renee Dupree revealed that Hardcore Holly was one of his least-liked people in the WWE locker room. Dupree then proceeded to call out Hardcore Holly for trying to get talented fired from WWE.

“What would bother me the most is how he would try to pretend to be your friend just to bury and get you fired. That’s what his main goal was, to get guys fired.”

Hardcore Holly was never a popular superstar backstage in WWE and it is not hard to see why. Regardless, it is unlikely fans will ever get to see him in a WWE ring again and that’s unlikely to ever change.
